Omo-Agege revealed this on Saturday while chatting with supporters of the party in Ughelli, Ughelli south local government area of Delta State who had come to greet him upon his return to the state after stepping down from the deputy senate president position.
“We have lost in 2023 general election but l am sure APC will take over Delta state governorship position come 2027,” he said.
Senator Ovie Omo-Agege expressed gratitude to the residents of the state for their backing during his campaign for the position in 2023. He encouraged them to persevere and maintain their backing for the party in forthcoming elections at various levels.
According to him, citizens should demonstrate patience with President Bola Tinubu’s administration, as he believes that soon Nigerians will begin to see significant benefits of democracy.
He expressed gratitude for the collective efforts of the community in securing two Senatorial positions for the APC in the Delta Central and Delta South districts. He called for ongoing support from the people at the grassroots, state, and national levels to ensure success across all fronts.
