Jigan Babaoja threatens Mohbad with N100m suit over lyrics of new song

Jigan Babaoja, the actor, has threatened legal action against Mohbad, the singer, over the lyrics of his yet-to-be-released song.

Mohbad will be releasing his long-awaited single titled ‘Ask About Me’ on Friday (today).

In a snippet of the song, the musician appeared to have made reference to the actor’s disability.

Mohbad said he has “won the battle against the Devil and made Satan one-legged like Jigan.”

“Kese kese kasa/ Casa Casablanca/ I open Bible chapter/ I step on the Satan/ Mo pa Esu danu/ Mo kan lese kan/ Otamu rege Jigan/ oo ahh/ oh oh why,” the lyrics read.

Apparently infuriated, the comic actor took to his Instagram page to express displeasure over the lyrics of the song.

In the post, Jigan threatened to file a sum of N100 million lawsuit against Mohbad.

He also vowed to pay the former Marlian Records signee a vicious visitation.

“I am taking this up against @iammohbad and I am going to charge him 100 million! This will sound a big lesson to others!” he wrote.

“What is wrong with these people? I swear I will go and lock him up. I will go and beat him in his house.”

Last week, Jigan threatened to break Asake’s leg for also referencing his disability in his ‘2:30‘ song.
