‘Nigeria’s democracy is incomplete without your sacrifice,’ Otunba Gbenga Daniel lauds President-elect Tinubu at 71

Former governor of Ogun State and Senator-elect representing Ogun East, Otunba Gbenga Daniel, congratulated Nigeria’s president-elect, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, on his birthday, March 29, reports Apples Bite Magazine.

He noted that Tinubu’s contributions to Nigerian democracy were immense and he deserves celebration on his birthday. He also said Tinubu’s leadership style inspired many Nigerians.

In a congratulatory message posted on OGD’s Twitter page, he also pointed out that Tinubu’s electoral victory is an opportunity for him to effect the change he has always fought for. For many years, Tinubu has advocated for change in Nigeria as a prominent politician. It is expected that his victory in the election will allow him to finally implement the changes he has long advocated.

Tinubu, who won the last presidential election held on February 25 on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC), defeated co-contestants at the time, former vice president, Atiku Abubakar of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) and Peter Obi of the Labour Party (LP) with over 8 million votes.
