According to the statement made available to journalists by the Conference’s image-maker, Fawole Israel Opeyemi, the youth leaders also charged Tinubu to embrace the philosophy of youth inclusion and empowerment across all zones in his administration.
The statement quoted the conference chairman, Toba Fatunla, urging the incoming president to strengthen the youth system, saying by doing so, he has given a sense of belonging and fulfilment to the youths.
He said, ‘’We like to congratulate the President-elect, Bola Tinubu, on his electoral victory on February 25 Presidential election.
“Nigerian youths, under the auspices of the youth parliament, wish to call on Tinubu to embrace the philosophy of youth inclusion, youth empowerment and youth system strengthening.
“Needless to say that youth inclusion is a major indicator when it comes to good governance in a democracy, youth empowerment will enhance the capacity of the youth to add value to the economy while system strengthening will bolster youths’ confidence in the country.
