The Beat FM, 99.9, has shown her rare love by renaming their station’s name to ‘Timeless FM’ in honour of Davido’s recently album release, Timeless.
This is coming after the release of Davido’s fourth album ‘Timeless’. The 17-track album is packed with exciting collaborations that sees the megastar combine his hit-making dexterity with that of the other artistes featured both Nigerian and international, such as Asake, and multi-Grammy winning singer/songwriter, Angelique Kidjo.
The other artistes include Nigerian Fave, and The Cavemen. For international collaborations, there is also British-Nigerian rapper Skepta, South African singer Musa Keys, and Jamaican star Dexta Daps.
This is a show of loyalty, respect and love for the afrobeats singer, for an independent radio station to make such a bold step in acknowledging the music star as this has never happened before in the history of Radio and Music industry.
The radio station has dedicated two days for the music star to shed more light on his life after the death of his son, his music, his love life, his tour and plans.
This is a remarkable achievement for Davido and his entire team.
