Grammy award-winning Nigerian singer Burna Boy is set to perform at the UEFA Champions League final in Instabul.
The Afrobeats megastar will be performing live at the 2023 UEFA Champions League final kick-off show, which is scheduled to take place in Instabul on June 10.
This was announced in a Twitter post on March 16, by the organizers of UEFA Champions League.
The Champions League will be holding in Istanbul on the 10th of June, 2023. It is sponsored by Pepsi and tagged the #PepsiKickOffShow.
According to the post, on Twitter, “The Nigerian star, whose hits include ‘Last Last’ and ‘It’s Plenty’, will bring his energy and signature soulful vibes to millions of fans before the biggest club fixture in football gets underway.”
In the post, Burna Boy, in a short video clip, tells viewers that he is going to be live in Instabul for the UEFA Champions League final.
This is big news indeed for Afrobeats and Nigerians, for they will be represented on one of the world’s biggest stage.
