First batch of Nigerians stranded in Sudan arrive Abuja

The first set of Nigerians, including students who were stranded in war-torn Sudan has arrived in Nigeria.

The Nigerians who were evacuated from Egypt by the Air Peace plane arrived at the Nnamdi Azikwe International Airport, Abuja at about 11:30 pm on Wednesday.

Upon their arrival, health officials and immigration officers attended to the returnees.
