Former Accountant General and governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party in Rivers State, Siminalayi Fubara has been declared the winner of the state governorship election.
Fubara who is anointed by incumbent Governor Nyesom Wike, polled 302, 614 to emerge the winner. His closest rival, Tonye Cole of the All Progressives Congress, got 95,274 votes.
