Nigerian Singer Naira Marley has broken silence and has asked his fans to vote Gov Babajide Sanwolu because he has the experience and therefore should be re-elected, because Lagos is not opened for testing.
On Wednesday night, Naira Marley took to his Instagram page during a live video to express himself and accompanying with a tweet to endorse Gov Babajide Sanwoolu for second term.
The singer stated his endorsement of the APC gubernatorial candidate for Lagos state, despite not being affiliated with any political party.
He further remarked that there has been significant development in infrastructure and other aspect, which is evident and accessible for all to witness.
The singer has since then been receiving backlash but stood his grounds by telling his fans he cannot be silenced in his choice as he knows his fundamental human rights.
From his opinion, Lagos is a highly developed mega city, and therefore, it cannot be entrusted to someone inexperienced in politics.
