RIG Nation Pastor Arayomi breaks silence on DSS arrest with him, his wife

Founder of RIG Nation and Pioneer Church, United Kingdom, Tomi Arayomi has said that the Department of State Services had arrested him alongside his wife and aide.

Recall we reported that Arayomi confirmed the arrest on his official twitter page adding that he and his family have been forced to flee the country out of concern for their well-being.

Entertainment Naija had also reported that operatives of the DSS had allegedly detained Arayomi, his wife Tahmar at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport on Friday.

Although the reason behind this was unclear, there are speculations that Arayomi was arrested for making “prophecies that are deemed to be inciting.” Concerning the just concluded Nigeria election.

Arayomi said that on arriving at the Abuja Airport,  himself, his wife and aide, Emmanuel Ezerika were picked up by six armed agents, forced to surrender their mobile phones and then taken to a location said to be the DSS Headquarters.

Arayomi also added that their pictures and biometrics were taken after which they were locked inside a room with no explanation for said treatment.

Arayomi noted that the DSS released himself and his wife but his aide still remains in the DSS’ custody and no information about the aide’s whereabouts has been provided by the secret service agency.

Arayomi added that himself and his family are safe and they will continue to pray for a new Nigeria which they can call home.
