Ismail Mustapha, the socialite better called Mompha, has denied a report by of being re-arrested by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

On Monday, the counsel for the EFCC informed the special offences court sitting in Ikeja that Mompha has been re-arrested.

The socialite was arraigned for further hearing in the alleged N6bn fraud trial.

The case was later adjourned till July 3, 2023 for the continuation of trial.
