Years after the release of this first body of work, Shayo Davids took his time to put together this masterpiece a self titled album “Oluwasayo” which is not only guaranteed to have his fans vibing, but also so showcase is growth as and artist over the years.
The first track is a proper introduction of who Shayo Davids is , what he represents and his experiences so far in life. the second track is a collaboration with the biggest rapper in the country at the moment PsychoYP.
Whenever they hope on a record together they both have an undeniable chemistry that produces a smash hit! the third track is a classic collaboration with the melodiously gifted Frescool on a soothing and soul relaxing beat that was produced by Trimz and Lynzzz who played a major role in the production of the entire project.
The 4th track is a proclamation of how tough the music game and life is in general “every lion has got to go through jungles” he tags the one of the most talented rappers Nigerian rap industry has ever heard Jaido P complementing the timeless record with his ear grasping flows! the 5th track is a such a banger that’s a guaranteed club banger ! a collaboration we never knew we needed , he has the certified hitmaker Hotkid on the record with him and it gets you in the groove the very second the tune drops.
The 6th track is the most most emotional song on the project where Shayo beats out all his insecurities and fears and joy , saying it all with no filter and he has the legendary Barry Jhay on the record with him and its definitely going to be a popular favorite ! the 7th track is the last but not the least as he tells us how God has been there for him all the way , and thhe lets us know there is so much more greatness coming from him.
His EP listening party is set to hold on the 18th of August in Lekki Phase 1 and it promises to be a star studded event, he has also confirmed he will be doing a university tour for the EP. he is doing a radio tour across the western parts of Nigeria. the official video for the first track has been shot and he is currently shooting the video to track 5 with Hotkid.
Shayo Davids has been recording great music for a decade and he has managed to build cult following of real people that listen to and love his music so much and he is not slowing down despite being independent he raises the bar with every single release .
This young man is extremely talented and hardworking and this project is going to introduce him to the whole world and the world honestly needs an artist like Oluwasayo Davids.
